The Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovations and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO)<\/strong><\/a> has published an amendment to the Micro Loans for Growth and Inclusion (Mikro zajmovi za rast i uklju\u010denost)<\/strong> programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Updated 28 October 2026.<\/strong> Since 28 October 2026 at 9:00, HAMAG-BICRO has been accepting applications for SP ZPP Loans for Growth of Agricultural Production. Read the conditions by sector in the guide SP ZPP Loans for Growth of Agricultural Production 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the amendment to the programme, the maximum loan amount increases from the previous EUR 25,000 to EUR 50,000<\/strong> and the definition of a start-up entrepreneur changes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compared with the earlier interpretation, the fact that the applicant (a natural person) or the applicant’s owner\/co-owner previously held a share of more than 30% in another company no longer excludes them automatically. Instead, the duration of the previous ownership is assessed (no more than 36 months cumulatively), which significantly widens the range of entrepreneurs who can meet the start-up entrepreneur condition.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with this amendment, HAMAG-BICRO announced the upcoming opening of a new line, \u201cSP ZPP Loans for Growth of Agricultural Production in Sensitive Sectors\u201d (SP ZPP zajmovi za rast poljoprivredne proizvodnje u osjetljivim sektorima), under which applicants will be able to apply for up to EUR 150,000 with a principal write-off of up to 50%.
