The investment study, the financial model and the application are prepared together, so the figures match across all documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Frequently asked questions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can I apply if I have already started the investment?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In most calls, no, because costs incurred before the application is submitted are not eligible. Before you place any order or sign any contract, we check the conditions of the call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do I have to pre-finance the investment?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Usually, yes. Grants are mostly paid as reimbursement of costs already paid, so the investment needs to be bridged with own funds or a loan. Some calls allow an advance payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can I combine grants and a favourable loan?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It depends on the call and the loan programme. Some programmes explicitly prohibit combining them for the same investment, for example the loan under the CAP Strategic Plan (SP ZPP) from HAMAG-BICRO (Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovations and Investments), so we check this before applying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is approval certain?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No. Approval is decided by the body implementing the call, according to the evaluation criteria.
